Bead Challenge

"Being inspired and making friends one month at a time"

Have you heard about Bead Challenge? SBS Bead Challenge started in January of this year to a whopping success and has just been getting better and better as the year goes on. The club consists of local designers and hobbyists as well as a few intrepid out of town members. The purpose of the club is to create a fun environment where ideas and techniques are exchanged and finished masterpieces are put on display.

The rules are simple. Each member is given a monthly kit with the same components. The challenge is to create something — it can be jewelry, fabric embellishment, beaded sculpture, anything as long as it contains the component pieces in the final design. It is great fun! The members have show themselves to be fearless in design ideas and masters in solving some rather challenging color choices in the kits.
